The war between the Xbox One and the PS4 has only just begun, and Sony is set to take gaming to the next level though virtual reality with the introduction of Project Morpheus, announced at the Game Developers Conference.
Competing with the Oculus Rift in the race to making VR more mainstream, Project Morpheus boasts the following features:
- 1080p display with 100Hz refresh rate
- 90+ degree field of view
- 360 degree vision
- forward prediction
- DualShock 4 and PS Move detection with same camera
While we’re gonna have to wait a while for it to come to market, it’ll be interesting to see whether VR gaming will become the norm or more mainstream in the future.
