Big news from the Microsoft OneDrive blog today: free storage for users has doubled to 15GB, and all 365 subscriptions will come with 1TB of storage. The announcement also comes in drops in price, too – by over 70%.
Office 365 Home customers will get the 1TB of storage for $9.99 per month per person for a maximum of five people; Office 365 Personal subscriptions will get 1TB for $6.99 per month and University subscriptions will get it for $79.99 per year (~$6.67 per month).
Folks who do not want a 365 subscription can get 100GB of storage for $1.99 per month and 200GB for $3.99; the new prices and extra storage will be rolled out next month.
