Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that Threads, the company’s competitor to X, has surpassed 100 million daily active users. This milestone marks a significant step in the platform’s growth trajectory.
Zuckerberg also revealed that Threads now boasts 300 million monthly active users, an increase from the 275 million reported in November. This is the first time Meta has publicly disclosed daily active user figures for Threads.
The announcement comes amidst increased competition in the social media landscape, with platforms like Bluesky gaining traction. In response, Meta has been actively releasing new features and updates for Threads, including custom feeds, “starter packs” for new users, and the ability to change the default feed.
