Sony’s DualSense Edge gets a PC makeover: customize your controller to perfection

Sony has taken a significant step towards enhancing the PC gaming experience for PlayStation enthusiasts. The company has revamped its firmware updater app, now aptly named ‘PlayStation Accessories,’ introducing exciting new features for the DualSense Edge controller on PC.

Beyond its original function of updating firmware, the PlayStation Accessories app now empowers DualSense Edge users to fine-tune their gaming experience. Gamers can adjust trigger deadzones, remap buttons, tweak stick sensitivity, and even control vibration intensity. The ability to create and switch between custom profiles tailored for specific games adds another layer of convenience and personalization.

While these customization options are currently exclusive to the premium DualSense Edge controller, the app continues to offer firmware updates for both the standard DualSense and its high-end counterpart, ensuring optimal performance for all users.

This move underscores Sony’s growing focus on the PC gaming market, complementing its recent efforts to bring major PlayStation titles to PC and introduce PS VR2 support. It’s a win for PC gamers who prefer the feel of the DualSense Edge and further solidifies Sony’s commitment to providing a seamless gaming experience across platforms.
