Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra leaks: leaner, meaner, and possibly the thinnest yet

The anticipation for Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series is already building, and the latest leak is adding more fuel to the fire. The Galaxy S25 Ultra, the flagship of the lineup, is now rumored to be even slimmer than initially thought.

Reputable leaker IceUniverse recently updated their prediction for the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s dimensions to 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm, making it a hair thinner than the previously anticipated 8.4mm. If accurate, this would make the Galaxy S25 Ultra the slimmest “Ultra” phone since the Galaxy Note20 Ultra and the thinnest Galaxy S series Ultra model ever.

Beyond sheer thinness, these dimensions indicate the Galaxy S25 Ultra might be slightly narrower than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It’s also speculated that the S25 Ultra might match the iPhone 16 Pro Max in terms of screen size and overall dimensions, suggesting a potential design convergence between these rival flagship devices.

Previous leaks have hinted at significant camera and display upgrades for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, possibly incorporating new sensors and a substantial RAM boost to 16GB. Design tweaks are also on the table, with rumors pointing towards a more comfortable in-hand feel with rounded corners.

Interestingly, there’s even chatter about the Galaxy S25 Ultra adopting the “Galaxy S25 Note” moniker and potentially shipping exclusively with a Snapdragon processor.

While these details are still speculative, they paint a picture of a Galaxy S25 Ultra that is pushing boundaries in design and performance. The combination of a slimmer profile, powerful internals, and potential camera advancements could make this Samsung’s most compelling Ultra phone yet. The wait until its expected launch next year will undoubtedly be filled with even more leaks and speculation, building excitement for what could be a game-changing smartphone.
