The international variant of the Samsung Galaxy S25 has appeared on Geekbench, revealing that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. This listing adds fuel to the rumors that the entire Galaxy S25 series will utilize Snapdragon chips globally, marking a departure from Samsung’s traditional strategy of using both Snapdragon and Exynos processors in different regions.
The Geekbench listing reveals that the international Galaxy S25, identified by model code SM-S931B, runs Android 15 and boasts 12GB of RAM. While the benchmark scores are slightly lower than those achieved by other Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered devices, this could be attributed to the device being a prototype.

This latest development contradicts earlier rumors suggesting that the Galaxy S25 series might include Exynos processors in some regions. A previous Geekbench listing showed the Galaxy S25+ with an Exynos 2500 chip. However, the recent listing of the international Galaxy S25 with a Snapdragon chip indicates that Samsung may be opting for a unified processor strategy across all markets.
With the Samsung Galaxy S25 series rumored to launch later this month, more details about the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra are expected to emerge soon.
