POCO has unveiled its latest smartphone lineup, the X7 series, featuring the X7 Pro, the standard X7, and a special Iron Man Edition of the X7 Pro. This new series aims to deliver a compelling combination of performance, design, and innovative features.
At the heart of the X7 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset, promising significant gains in CPU and GPU performance, as well as AI processing. The X7 is equipped with the Dimensity 7300-Ultra, also delivering strong performance. Both models feature Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 and optimizations for smoother gaming and overall operation. POCO has also incorporated its LiquidCool Technology 4.0 for efficient heat dissipation during demanding tasks.
The X7 Pro boasts a substantial 6000mAh battery, the largest yet in a POCO phone, and supports 90W fast charging. The X7 features a 5110mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Both models are designed for longevity, retaining over 80% capacity after 1600 charge cycles, and include intelligent charging features for optimized speed and temperature management.
The X7 series sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and high resolution for smooth visuals and vibrant colors. The X7 Pro features a minimalist design with racing-inspired aesthetics, while the X7 introduces a curved display. Both models are built for durability with Corning Gorilla Glass and IP68 dust and water resistance.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) on both the X7 Pro and X7. The X7 Pro offers additional features like dual focal lengths for portrait mode and advanced video recording capabilities, including 4K resolution at 60fps.
The X7 series comes equipped with a range of software features, including AI-powered tools for productivity and creativity. These include an AI interpreter for real-time translation during meetings, AI note-taking, and AI recording with summarization capabilities. Both models also include the Google Gemini app for AI assistance with various tasks.
In a collaboration with Marvel, POCO has created a special Iron Man Edition of the X7 Pro. This edition features a unique design inspired by Iron Man’s iconic suit, complete with a 3D relief of his helmet and Arc Reactor.
The POCO X7 series is available for purchase through Xiaomi channels. The X7 Pro Iron Man Edition is priced at 1339 AED, while the standard X7 starts at 899 AED.
