Pixel 9 Pro XL “review”: a 20-minute showcase of absolutely nothing

Oh boy, another Pixel 9 leak, and this one’s a doozy! A Ukrainian YouTuber has graced us with a “review” of the Pixel 9 Pro XL, complete with a 20-minute video showcasing… well, not much.

The phone’s design is on full display, but with that telltale geometric pattern under the “G” logo, it’s screaming “dummy unit.” And the screen? Conveniently turned off throughout the entire video. Is it running Android? Is it even functional?Who knows!

But hey, at least we get a side-by-side comparison with the Pixel 8 Pro and Galaxy S24 Ultra, right? Oh, and the YouTuber generously parrots specs we’ve already heard a million times: Tensor G4, 6.8-inch 120Hz display, 16GB of RAM. Groundbreaking stuff, truly.

So, is this a genuine leak or a masterclass in misdirection? It’s hard to say, but one thing’s for sure: if you’re looking for actual insights into the Pixel 9 Pro XL, you’re better off waiting for Google’s official announcement. Don’t be fooled by shiny objects and empty promises – or in this case, a lifeless phone with a fancy design.
