Motorola has unveiled two new budget smartphones, the Moto G04 and G24.
Moto G24: The More Premium Option
The Moto G24 features a 6.6-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can further expand storage via a microSD card slot (up to 1TB) and also utilize virtual RAM expansion technology (up to 8GB). The phone measures 7.99mm thin and weighs 180 grams.

The rear camera system includes a 50MP primary sensor alongside a 2MP macro lens. The front-facing camera for selfies and video calls is 8MP. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. Other notable features include a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 14 My UX software, IP52 water and dust resistance, and Bluetooth 5.0.
Moto G04: The Affordably Priced Choice
Similar to the G24, the G04 also sports a 6.6-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. While the design remains largely the same, some downgrades have been made to offer a more affordable price point. The G04 utilizes a UNISOC T606 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Similar to the G24, it also offers virtual RAM expansion options (4GB or 8GB). Dimensions and weight remain consistent with the G24 at 7.99mm and 180 grams, respectively.

The rear camera system on the G04 is simpler, featuring a single 16MP sensor accompanied by an LED flash. The front-facing camera for selfies is 5MP. The phone is powered by the same 5,000mAh battery as the G24, but fast charging is capped at 10W. Other features include a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 14 My UX software, IP52 dust and water resistance, and Bluetooth 5.1.
