Sony has released a new PS5 update focused on improving your DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers. Here’s what’s new:
- Enhanced Controller Audio: Your controller’s speaker will now deliver clearer, louder audio. The microphone has also been upgraded using machine learning for better noise cancellation during voice chats.
- Share Screen Upgrades: Viewers using Share Screen can now guide the player with an on-screen pointer, allowing for drawing or highlighting areas. Emoji reactions are now also available.
- Additional Tweak: You’ll find a new option in your PS5 settings to adjust the console’s power indicator brightness.
How to Get the Update: Make sure both your PS5 console and DualSense controllers are updated to access these improvements. The Share Screen features will be rolling out to the PlayStation App on mobile phones later this month.
