iPad refresh expected in early May, leaks suggest

The long wait for updated iPads could finally be over. According to trusted sources cited by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is likely to unveil the new models during the week of May 6th. This aligns with Gurman’s previous prediction of an “early May” launch and recent activity at Apple retail stores that often signal an upcoming product release.

While originally anticipated for a March release, the new iPads were reportedly delayed due to complications with their upgraded display technology. However, it appears those issues are resolved. Industry watchers anticipate updates to both the iPad Air and iPad Pro lines, as well as potential refreshes of the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil accessories.

Additional evidence supporting this rumored launch comes from the recent registration of four new iPad models with the Bureau of India Standards website.
