HOOTI, a company specializing in sleep technology, has developed an AI-powered pillow designed to combat snoring. The pillow, which resembles a standard memory foam pillow, utilizes a vibration detection system and bone conduction technology to identify snoring patterns.
When snoring is detected, the pillow’s internal airbag subtly adjusts the sleeper’s head position to alleviate airway obstructions and reduce snoring. HOOTI claims the data collected by the pillow is over 90% accurate and that multiple pillows can be used simultaneously without interference.

The pillow’s exterior cover is washable, while the interior components, including the airbag and sensors, are not. Users can opt to disable the “smart intervention” feature and still utilize the sleep tracking capabilities of the accompanying app.
The AI pillow is currently available for pre-order on Kickstarter at a discounted price of $199, with an estimated shipping date of October. The package includes a power cable and a travel bag.
While the effectiveness of the pillow in addressing snoring remains to be seen, its innovative approach has garnered significant interest, with over $49,000 raised on Kickstarter in just a few days.
