GoPro  has unveiled two new additions to its lineup: the flagship Hero13 Black and the compact Hero. These cameras pack a range of features tailored for those who love to capture their adventures.

Hero13 Black: The Powerhouse

The Hero13 Black, available at Rs 44,900, is the new top-of-the-line model. It features compatibility with the HB-Series Lenses, an array of interchangeable lenses designed to enhance your footage. GoPro also offers the Hero13 Black Creator Edition (Rs 64,990), which includes accessories like the Volta Power Grip, Media Mod, and Light Mod. Alternatively, the Hero13 Black Accessory Bundle (Rs 49,990) offers essentials for capturing action, including a floating hand grip, an extra Enduro battery, a curved adhesive mount, a 64GB SD card, and a case.

The Hero13 Black boasts impressive capabilities, such as 13X Burst Slo-Mo, allowing you to capture stunning slow-motion footage at up to 400 frames per second in 720p. It also records 5.3K video at 120 frames per second and 900p video at 360 frames per second. The redesigned Enduro battery promises 10% more capacity and enhanced performance across various weather conditions. Additional features include the versatile Snap and Go Magnetic Latch for convenient mounting, faster content transfer with WiFi 6, and support for professional-level Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) HDR video.

Hero: Compact and Capable

GoPro also introduces the Hero, its smallest and most affordable 4K camera with a built-in screen. Priced at Rs 23,990,this lightweight camera weighs just 86g and comes with integrated mounting fingers. It’s significantly smaller and lighter than the Hero13 Black, making it ideal for those who prioritize portability.

Despite its compact size, the Hero is built tough and waterproof up to 16 feet. It’s designed to handle a variety of conditions, from snow and water to mud. The camera features an intuitive touchscreen and one-button control for easy operation. It also offers 4K Ultra HD video recording, 1080p video, 12MP photos, and 2x slo-mo capabilities, ensuring high-quality image capture.

Availability and Pricing

The Hero13 Black, Hero13 Black Creator Edition, and Hero13 Accessory Bundle are available for pre-order through various online and offline retailers. Shipping and in-store availability begin on September 10th. Pre-orders for the Hero start on September 16th. The HB-Series lenses, including the Ultra Wide Lens Mod, Macro Lens Mod, and ND Filter 4-Pack, are sold separately and will be available from September 10th. The Anamorphic Lens Mod is expected to launch in 2025.

GoPro’s latest releases, the Hero13 Black and Hero, offer a blend of advanced features and user-friendly design, catering to both seasoned adventurers and those new to action cameras. Whether you’re capturing breathtaking landscapes or documenting your thrilling exploits, GoPro’s new cameras aim to provide the tools to capture your experiences in stunning detail.
