Google’s Circle to Search now recognizes songs: hum, sing, or play it

Google’s nifty tool, Circle to Search, just got even more awesome. Forget about opening Shazam or Soundhound to identify that catchy tune playing in the background – now you can do it right from your Samsung Galaxy phone with the latest update.

Just long-press your navigation bar or home button to activate Circle to Search, and voila, a new music icon appears! Tap it, and let the magic happen. It’ll identify songs playing on your device or even out in the wild. You can even hum or sing a tune if you can’t remember the lyrics.

While this feature isn’t entirely new (it’s already available in the Google app and Google Assistant), integrating it into Circle to Search makes it super convenient and accessible. No more switching between apps – just one long press and you’re ready to rock out to that newfound jam.

The rollout is happening gradually, so if you don’t see it yet, don’t worry. But soon, you’ll be able to ditch those third-party music recognition apps and let Circle to Search handle all your song-finding needs. Get ready to impress your friends with your instant music knowledge!
