Anker has unveiled a new 140W wall charger at CES 2025 featuring a unique design aimed at addressing a common frustration: chargers falling out of outlets. The new charger relocates its four USB ports to the underside, shifting the center of gravity and improving stability when cables are plugged in. This innovative approach may be particularly useful for those who have experienced issues with bulkier chargers becoming dislodged due to the weight of connected cables.
In addition to its unusual port placement, the Anker 140W charger also incorporates a built-in display that shows the power output for each port. This feature provides users with real-time information about the charging status of their devices.
The Anker Charger (140W) with display is priced at $89.99 and is available starting January 7th, 2025. Alongside the new wall charger, Anker also introduced the Anker 25K Power Bank, a 25,000mAh portable charger with a retractable 27.2-inch USB-C cable and a similar display for charging information. The power bank is priced at $99.99.

Addressing a Common Problem:
Anker’s previous attempts to prevent heavier chargers from falling out of outlets involved using a smaller design with thicker, textured prongs for increased grip. The new design, with its bottom-placed ports, offers another solution to this issue while also accommodating four USB ports – three USB-C and one USB-A – for simultaneous charging of multiple devices.
Power Distribution and Display:
The charger’s USB-C ports offer varying power delivery capabilities. Two of the ports can provide up to 140W of power, while the third maxes out at 40W. The USB-A port is limited to 33W. These speeds may be reduced when all four ports are in use. The integrated display, located where the USB ports are typically found on Anker’s chargers, shows the power draw of each port and the remaining power available.
Anker 25K Power Bank:
Anker’s new 25,000mAh power bank is designed for portability and high-speed charging. It features three USB-C ports and one USB-A port, with a maximum power output of 165W. A single USB-C port can deliver up to 100W for fast-charging laptops. The power bank’s display provides information on the power consumption of connected devices.

Integrated Cables:
One of the standout features of the Anker 25K Power Bank is its integrated USB-C cables. It includes an 8.6-inch external cable that can be used as a carrying strap and a 27.2-inch cable that fully retracts into the power bank, ensuring that users always have a cable readily available.
Anker’s new wall charger and power bank offer practical solutions to common charging challenges. The wall charger’s innovative port placement aims to improve stability, while the power bank’s integrated cables enhance convenience. Both devices feature informative displays to keep users informed about their charging status.
