Apple Music Classical has expanded its availability, now accessible via the web at classical.music.apple.com.

Launched in March 2023, Apple Music Classical provides Apple Music subscribers with access to over five million classical music tracks at no additional cost. The service is built on the foundation of Primephonic, a classical music streaming platform acquired by Apple in 2021.

To mark the web launch, Apple has announced an exclusive recording of Julius Eastman’s Symphony No. 2 and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 2, performed by conductor Franz Welser-Möst and the Cleveland Orchestra. This recording will be available exclusively on Apple Music Classical for six weeks.

In addition to the web version, Apple Music Classical is available as an app for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices, and supports CarPlay. However, a dedicated Mac application is not yet available.
