X, formerly known as Twitter, will soon launch two new tiers of premium subscriptions, Elon Musk said in post on X on Friday.

Two new tiers of X Premium subscriptions launching soon.

One is lower cost with all features, but no reduction in ads, and the other is more expensive, but has no ads.

One of the new tiers will cost less than the current $8 per month plan, but won’t reduce ads, while the other tier will be a more expensive and will be ads free.

Earlier this week, X also announced that it will begin testing a subscription model under which it will charge a $1 per year for basic features.

More details to come.
