TCL at MWC 2025: new smartphones, tablets, and AR glasses

TCL made several announcements at MWC 2025, showcasing a range of new devices and technologies. The company unveiled six new smartphones, expanding its TCL 60 series, as well as a new tablet featuring its NXTPAPER technology. TCL also introduced updated augmented reality (AR) glasses and a portable projector.

TCL 60 Series Expands with Six New Models

TCL introduced six new smartphones in its 60 series, catering to a variety of user needs and price points. Two of the new models, the TCL 60 XE NXTPAPER 5G and the TCL 60 SE NXTPAPER 5G, feature the company’s NXTPAPER display technology, which is designed to provide a paper-like viewing experience while reducing eye strain. The other models in the series offer various features, including high refresh rate displays, long battery life, and ample storage.

NXTPAPER 11 Plus Tablet Debuts with AI Features

TCL also announced the NXTPAPER 11 Plus tablet, the first TCL device to combine NXTPAPER technology with artificial intelligence (AI). The tablet features a 11.5-inch display with a 2.2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G100 processor and offers up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The AI features include tools for text summarization, translation, and event planning.

RayNeo Air 3S AR Glasses Get an Upgrade

TCL also showcased an updated version of its RayNeo Air 3S AR glasses. The new version features AI functionality, a 12MP Sony sensor, and a real-time AI assistant. The glasses are designed to provide a more immersive AR experience.

TCL PlayCube: A Portable Projector with Smart Features

TCL also introduced the PlayCube, a portable projector with a built-in battery that allows for up to 2.5 hours of use. The projector features real-time calibration for focus and keystone correction, as well as clarity adjustment.

Overall, TCL’s presence at MWC 2025 highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation in the mobile device and display technology sectors. The new smartphones, tablet, AR glasses, and projector offer a range of features and capabilities for consumers.
