Spotify is enhancing its playlist customization features with a new collection of Valentine’s Day stickers, allowing users to add a touch of romance to their curated love song compilations. This update comes as Spotify notes the staggering number of Valentine’s Day playlists created globally each year, exceeding 1.6 million. For those who meticulously craft the perfect soundtrack for the occasion, this new feature offers a way to visually complement their musical selections.

Spotify’s cover art tool, introduced last year, empowers users to personalize their playlists beyond simply arranging tracks. While the initial offering of 40 stickers seemed limited, Spotify has consistently expanded the options, culminating in this latest Valentine’s Day-themed addition.

Available in 65 markets worldwide, the new collection offers 12 distinct stickers designed to enhance playlist cover art. Users can combine these stickers with a variety of backgrounds, colors, effects, and graphical elements to create a unique visual identity for their playlists. Whether it’s a playlist for personal enjoyment or a thoughtful gift for a loved one, these customization options aim to make the experience more engaging and expressive.

Utilizing the new stickers is a straightforward process. Users can select an existing playlist or create a new one, access the three-dot menu, and choose the “Create cover art” option. This will reveal the Valentine’s Day sticker pack, alongside other background options and font choices. After selecting the desired elements, users can save their creation and enjoy their personalized playlist.

This update is a timely addition for Valentine’s Day, providing users with a creative outlet to express their feelings through music and visuals. For those unfamiliar with Spotify’s cover art tool, it’s a feature worth exploring, adding another layer of personalization to the music streaming experience. It’s also a reminder of the many hidden features Spotify offers, waiting to be discovered and utilized. As Valentine’s Day approaches, these new customization options provide a fun and engaging way to celebrate love and music.
