Spark, a popular email application for iPhone and Mac, is introducing a new AI-powered feature called “My Writing Style.” This feature aims to personalize and streamline email composition by learning and replicating your unique writing style within AI-generated drafts.
While Apple has yet to integrate generative AI into iOS or its native apps, the tech industry is rapidly incorporating AI features. Readdle, the developer of Spark, previously introduced AI-powered email tools and is now further advancing its capabilities with the “My Writing Style” feature.
Once activated, the “My Writing Style” feature analyzes a sample of your sent emails to understand your writing patterns. Spark’s AI can then generate email replies and drafts that closely mimic your style, adding a personal touch to your communications. You have full control to edit AI-generated text as needed.
Readdle highlights the time-saving potential of “My Writing Style” for professionals such as journalists, content creators, HR personnel, and researchers. The feature is powered by Microsoft Azure OpenAI and, according to Readdle, your writing data is automatically deleted after a month and not used for training language models.
Spark’s “My Writing Style” feature is available across Android, iOS, and Mac platforms. Access to this feature requires a Spark Premium subscription ($7.99 per month), which includes a 7-day free trial.
