Samsung recently launched its Galaxy S25 series in the UAE, comprising the Galaxy S25 Ultra, S25+, and S25. The launch event, held at Dubai’s 25hours Hotel, showcased the devices’ features and highlighted their focus on AI-driven mobile experiences. The event featured local filmmaker Mohamad Attal, who presented a project filmed on the S25 Ultra, and 13-year-old AI enthusiast Ali Al Loughani.
The S25 series emphasizes on-device AI processing through its One UI 7 and multimodal AI agents. This approach aims to make interactions more intuitive and context-aware. Samsung has collaborated with Google to integrate AI deeply into the Android operating system, with plans to open this system to developers.
One UI 7 aims to personalize user experience while maintaining privacy. The Personal Data Engine analyzes user data to provide tailored features, such as context-sensitive photo searches and the Now Brief feature, which offers timely suggestions on the lock screen. Personal data is secured through encryption and Knox Vault. The series also introduces post-quantum cryptography to protect against future security threats. One UI 7 also includes security enhancements like Auto Blocker, Maximum Restrictions settings, and Theft Protection.
The Galaxy S25 series is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. This chipset delivers performance improvements across the NPU, CPU, and GPU, enabling on-device processing of AI tasks. Samsung has incorporated its own technology into the chipset, including ProScaler for image processing and mDNIe for display power efficiency. The devices also feature an improved thermal management system.
The S25 series boasts camera enhancements. The 50MP ultrawide sensor improves image clarity and macro photography. Low-light video recording is enhanced by a Spatio-Temporal Filter. The series also provides editing tools, including Audio Eraser and depth-of-field control with Virtual Aperture in Expert RAW mode. Galaxy Log offers advanced color grading for video production.
The S25 Ultra features a titanium frame and Corning Gorilla Armor 2. The design aims for a balance of simplicity and durability. The S25+ and S25 incorporate recycled materials in their construction, including recycled aluminum in the frame. The series also uses batteries made with recycled cobalt.
Samsung is committed to supporting the devices with seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. Samsung Care+ offers coverage for accidental damage and repairs. The New Galaxy Club subscription model aims to make device ownership more accessible.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is available in Titanium Silverblue, Titanium Black, Titanium Whitesilver, and Titanium Gray. The S25 and S25+ come in Silver Shadow, Navy, Icyblue, and Mint.
The Galaxy S25 series is available for purchase in the UAE through carriers, retailers, and Samsung’s online store.
