OnePlus 13 leaked images hint at design evolution

Leaked images, allegedly showcasing the upcoming OnePlus 13, have surfaced online, providing a tantalizing glimpse into the design direction of the next flagship phone. Shared by renowned leaker OnLeaks, the images reveal a device that retains some familiarity with its predecessor, the OnePlus 12, while introducing some notable changes.

One image appears to depict a metallic black variant of the OnePlus 13, highlighting a redesigned camera array. The flash seems to be integrated into one of the lenses, and the Hasselblad logo has been repositioned to the right. Interestingly, the back of the phone appears to sport a more silvery finish, contrasting with the glass back of the OnePlus 12.

A second image showcases what is purportedly the OnePlus 13 in a lighter colorway. The phone is placed face down, obscuring the front design, but the image offers a glimpse of someone holding what appears to be a blue OPPO Find X8, another anticipated flagship phone.

While these leaked images offer intriguing clues about the OnePlus 13’s design, details about the front of the phone and its internal specifications remain scarce. However, the images suggest that OnePlus is keen on refining its design language and introducing fresh elements to its flagship lineup.

Expected Specifications and Features

Based on current rumors, the OnePlus 13 is expected to boast impressive specifications, including:

  • Processor: Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite
  • Display: 6.8-inch AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate
  • RAM: 12GB
  • Storage: 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB
  • Cameras: 50MP triple camera array, 32MP selfie camera
  • Battery: 5,400 mAh

These rumored specifications position the OnePlus 13 as a powerful contender in the flagship smartphone market, with a focus on performance, photography, and battery life. The potential inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite processor is particularly exciting, promising exceptional performance for demanding tasks and gaming.

Price and Availability

The OnePlus 13 is anticipated to launch in China before the end of October 2024, with a global release expected in early 2025. While recent leaks suggest a potential price increase for OnePlus devices, the OnePlus 13 could still be a compelling option for those seeking a premium Android experience without the premium price tag.
