Samsung has officially announced the commencement of its One UI 7 update rollout, based on Android 15, scheduled to begin on April 7, 2025. This announcement follows earlier reports indicating an April release window, addressing the anticipation among Samsung Galaxy users awaiting the latest software.

The company confirmed the release date in an official newsroom post, stating that the One UI 7 update will initially be available for select devices, with a broader rollout to follow in the subsequent weeks. While Samsung did not explicitly mention potential regional variations in the update’s availability, it is understood that rollout schedules can differ by market.

A list of eligible Galaxy devices for the One UI 7 update has been provided, including:

  • Galaxy S24 series (S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE)
  • Galaxy S23 series (S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S23 FE)
  • Galaxy Z Fold series (Z Fold6, Z Fold5)
  • Galaxy Z Flip series (Z Flip6, Z Flip5)
  • Galaxy Tab S series (Tab S10+, Tab S10 Ultra, Tab S9, Tab S9+, Tab S9 Ultra)

The initial wave of updates will prioritize the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6. Older Galaxy models will receive the update progressively.

All eligible Galaxy devices will gain access to the core One UI 7 features, such as the Now Bar, Writing Assist, Drawing Assist, AI Select, new icons, and a refreshed user interface. However, the Audio Eraser feature will be exclusive to the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, and Galaxy Tab S10 series.

This update represents a significant software upgrade for Samsung Galaxy users, bringing enhancements and new functionalities to their devices.
