Nothing Phone (3a) series leaked renders showcase design and features

Leaked renders of the upcoming Nothing Phone (3a) and 3a Pro have surfaced online, giving a comprehensive look at the design and features of these mid-range devices. The images reveal the inclusion of Glyph lighting, a signature feature of Nothing phones, as well as an additional hardware button on both models.

The leaked renders, first reported by Android Headlines, showcase the phones in various color options. The standard Nothing Phone (3a) appears in black and white, while the Pro variant is shown in black and grey. The images confirm that both phones will feature Glyph lighting on the back, suggesting that this design element will be present across Nothing’s product lineup.

In addition to the Glyph lighting, the renders also highlight an extra hardware button located below the power key on both the 3a and 3a Pro. The positioning of the button suggests it may be a customizable or remappable key, rather than a dedicated camera shutter button. The images also strongly indicate the presence of an in-display fingerprint sensor on both models, aligning with previous releases in the Nothing Phone (2a) series.

Previous reports, corroborated by Android Headlines, suggest that both Nothing Phone (3a) handsets will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip. Both are also expected to include a 5,000mAh battery and a 6.77-inch OLED screen. Camera details have also emerged, with both phones expected to feature a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The Pro model is rumored to boast a 3x 50MP periscope lens, while the standard variant may feature a 2x 50MP camera. The front-facing camera is also expected to differ between the models, with the Pro version potentially offering a 50MP selfie camera and the standard version a 32MP shooter.

Memory and storage configurations are also rumored. The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro is speculated to be available in a single 12GB RAM/256GB storage configuration. The standard Nothing Phone (3a) may offer options of 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.

Nothing has been gradually releasing information about the upcoming phones, but these leaked renders provide a more complete picture of what to expect. While the official launch event on March 4th is still weeks away, it’s likely that more leaks and teasers will surface in the meantime. The Nothing Phone (3a) series is generating considerable interest, and the official release will reveal whether these devices live up to the hype.
