Nothing loves a slow reveal. The London-based phone maker thrives on a steady drip-feed of information, a tactic that’s proven successful for their first-generation launches. The Nothing Phone (2a) is no exception. It’s the company’s third phone, but aims for a broader audience than its predecessors, the Phone (1) and Phone (2).
That “a” is your clue – it’s the budget model, and it’s all about which flagship features you can sacrifice for a lower price tag, while keeping a premium feel. Finally, the Phone (2a) materialized during MWC 2024,
The Phone (2a) keeps the Phone (2)’s two-camera setup, but it’s now centered. Design choice or practicality?. We still don’t know camera specifics, but it’s safe to assume a downgrade from the Phone (2). We do know it’ll use a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chip, designed for this particular device.
Nothing has also shared another reveal teaser (again!) in the form of a video showing us the new device from its back side. Watch below.
