Back In August 2023, WhatsApp launched a new redesigned app for Macs, bringing new features to put it inline with iOS, such as group video and audio calls. At the time, the download was only available through the WhatsApp office site, while the older version remained on the Mac App Store.
Now, the native WhatsApp app for macOS is officially available to download from the Mac App Store globally.
We’ve downloaded and test the app, and we can confirm it’s definitely faster and more stable, and uses less resources.
Now, all we need to do is wait for the next the next release which supposedly will support iPadOS soon.
