OnePlus has finally revealed the OnePlus Watch 2, claiming a remarkable 100 hours (over 4 days!) of battery life, even while running Google’s power-hungry Wear OS.
The key is a unique dual-OS setup. Wear OS handles apps and watch faces, while a low-power RTOS aided by a secondary chip handles background tasks. “Smart mode” seamlessly switches between the two based on usage. OnePlus promises the switch will be unnoticeable to users.
Of course, hardware plays a role. The Watch 2 boasts a 500mAh battery and a fast proprietary charger. Expect a full charge in under an hour. Design-wise, you get a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, sapphire glass, stainless steel body, 5ATM water resistance, and a choice of black or silver finishes.

The Watch 2 includes 32GB storage, 2GB RAM, and the “OHealth” app for pairing and health tracking (it even syncs with Android’s Health Connect). Over 100 sport tracking modes are available.

The OnePlus Watch 2 costs $299. More info here.
