HONOR has announced its upcoming Magic7 Series smartphones, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, will feature groundbreaking AI capabilities, including an industry-first on-device AI Agent and real-time NPU graphics rendering for mobile gaming.
The Magic7 Series will introduce an on-device AI Agent designed to streamline tasks and enhance user experiences. This AI Agent can perform actions like ordering takeout, managing subscriptions, planning travel, booking tickets, scheduling calendars, and transferring files across apps, all through simple text or voice commands.

With user consent, the AI Agent can learn from habits and preferences to make intelligent decisions, such as ordering coffee with the user’s preferred milk option. This feature aims to provide unparalleled convenience and usher in an era of “Autopilot AI” on mobile devices.
The Magic7 Series will also be the first to feature real-time AI graphics rendering for mobile gaming, powered by NPU computing. This innovative approach reduces GPU load, resulting in lower device temperatures and an improved gaming experience with enhanced image quality.
HONOR’s MagicRing technology further enhances the AI experience by enabling secure and seamless connectivity across multiple devices. This allows for smooth information flow and service access across smartphones, tablets, and laptops. For example, users can seamlessly access the Cocreator app on their HONOR MagicPad 2 to create AI-enhanced artwork and utilize the AI Eraser on the HONOR MagicBook Art 14, demonstrating the versatility of mobile AI across different devices.

The HONOR Magic7 Series, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and MagicOS 9.0, is poised to redefine the smartphone experience with its advanced AI capabilities. The series is set to launch in China on October 30th, 2024.
