Bang & Olufsen launches new Beoplay Eleven earbuds

Bang & Olufsen has just released its latest wireless earbuds, the Beoplay Eleven. Building upon the foundation of the Beoplay EX, these new earbuds offer enhanced sound quality, active noise cancellation (ANC), and improved voice clarity.

Enhanced Sound and Noise Cancellation

The Beoplay Eleven boasts significant improvements in ANC performance, particularly in lower frequencies. The earbuds have been optimized to work effectively with various ear shapes and sizes. To achieve this, B&O has incorporated six updated microphones that operate more efficiently, minimizing hiss and resulting in a clearer and more natural-sounding transparency mode.

Improved Microphone Design

The external microphones on the Beoplay Eleven feature additional holes in the stem, covered with a fine mesh padding. This design element contributes to a more open sound and reduces pressure, enhancing overall comfort. Wind noise is effectively filtered out when the Wind Guard feature is activated through the B&O app.

Crystal-Clear Voice Calls

The Beoplay Eleven supports Multipoint connectivity and delivers exceptional voice call performance, thanks to the upgraded microphones and a new voice solution in the software. This combination ensures better call clarity and precision in various environments.

Design and Materials

Designed by Thomas Bentzen, the Beoplay Eleven draws inspiration from B&O’s Beoplay H100 headphones. The earbuds are available in two colorways: Natural Aluminum (deep black with natural-toned aluminum) and a warm copper-toned aluminum with neutral grey.

Crafted with high-quality materials, the Beoplay Eleven features polished aluminum, a glass touch interface, and a pearl-blasted aluminum charging case. The silicone ear tips provide a comfortable and secure fit, while the stem-based design ensures optimal microphone placement and efficient background noise reduction.

Sustainability and Battery Life

The Beoplay Eleven is designed with sustainability in mind. The batteries are replaceable at a service center, aligning with upcoming EU regulations that require replaceable batteries in electronic devices.

The earbuds offer a battery life of 6 hours with ANC enabled and 8 hours with ANC disabled. The charging case extends this to 20 hours and 28 hours, respectively.

Price and Availability

The Beoplay Eleven is available for purchase from the B&O website. The Natural Aluminum version is available now, while the Copper Tone version will be released on December 17th. The earbuds are priced at $499 / £429.
