Apple releases iOS 17.1.1 and watchOS 10.1.1 with critical bug fixes

Apple released iOS 17.1.1, and watchOS 10.1.1 around two weeks after the release of  iOS 17.1. The update is mainly pushed to fix a few issues and bugs that user have been experiencing.

iOS 17.1.1 fixes the issue of Apple Pay and other NFC features becoming unusual on iPhone 15 models after wireless charging in certain BMW vehicles, according to reports. The release also fixes the issue of the Weather lock screen widget’s incorrect display of information.

watchOS 10.1.1 fixes an issue with the watches battery drain for some users.

There are also other “important bug fixes” included, which Apple didnt mention in the release details, but this is a very important update for both devices for sure.

To download and update, go to Settings > General > Software Update and tap Install.
