Acer has expanded its environmentally friendly Vero line with the introduction of two new projectors: the Vero PD2528ic and the Vero PD2328. These projectors combine impressive visuals, energy efficiency, and sustainable design, making them ideal for eco-conscious consumers and businesses.
The Vero PD2 series projectors utilize the latest generation of LED technology, delivering brighter images and vibrant colors. Compared to their predecessors, these projectors boast an up to 18.5% increase in brightness, reaching up to 3,700 ANSI lumens. They also offer excellent color accuracy, covering 120% of the REC 709 color space.
The Vero PD2328 offers WXGA (1280×800) resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio, while the Vero PD2528ic provides FHD (1920×1080) resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Both models feature Acer LumiSense technology for enhanced visuals in dark environments and a suite of color-boosting technologies for true-to-life color reproduction. Acer BluelightShield technology minimizes blue light exposure to protect viewers’ eyes.
Sustainability is at the core of the Vero series. These projectors are mercury-free and utilize energy-efficient LEDs with a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours, reducing energy consumption by up to 42% compared to traditional lamp-based models. The projectors also incorporate 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic in their chassis and come in 100% recyclable packaging.
The Vero PD2 series projectors are compact and lightweight, weighing just 2.6 kg. The Vero PD258ic includes a built-in wireless dongle for seamless screen mirroring from smartphones and PCs without the need for additional apps.
Both projectors are designed for durability, capable of withstanding 24/7 operation. They also feature integrated 10W speakers for powerful audio and support HDMI 3D for immersive viewing experiences.
Setting up the Vero PD2 series projectors is a breeze, thanks to features like Auto Keystone Correction and an Auto Ceiling Mount gravity sensor. The long-lasting LED light source eliminates the need for lamp replacements, contributing to a lower total cost of ownership and reducing maintenance expenses.

The Acer Vero PD2528ic projector will be available in EMEA in December, starting at USD 799.
The Acer Vero PD2328 projector will be available in EMEA in January 2025, starting at USD 599.
