HONOR is extending the UAE’s back-to-school shopping season with a new tablet promotion aimed at families and students who may have missed the usual rush of August deals. The company’s HONOR Pad Carnival is now running across HONOR Experience stores and participating retail partners, with discounts covering its wider tablet portfolio.
Two models are getting particular attention during the promotion: the HONOR Pad 10 Wi-Fi and HONOR Pad X9b Max. While HONOR is positioning both around education, their specifications and prices put them at noticeably different points in the tablet market.
The HONOR Pad 10 Wi-Fi is priced at AED 1,249 during the campaign and comes bundled with a keyboard folio. Its 12.1-inch display gives students a relatively large workspace for documents, web research and online classes, while the included keyboard could make it more practical for assignments than a touchscreen-only setup.
That bundle is arguably more important than some of the usual tablet specifications. For students expected to write longer documents or switch regularly between schoolwork and browser-based research, a physical keyboard can turn a tablet into a more credible lightweight laptop alternative without requiring an additional accessory purchase.
The HONOR Pad X9b Max takes a different approach. Priced at AED 849 during the Pad Carnival, it features a larger 13-inch 2.5K display and a 10,100mAh battery. HONOR is also highlighting its integrated eye-comfort technologies, pitching the model towards students spending extended periods reading, researching or consuming educational content.

Claims around eye comfort should not be confused with guarantees about protecting eyesight, but display technologies designed to reduce some of the discomfort associated with prolonged screen use have become increasingly common across tablets, phones and monitors. Regular breaks and sensible viewing habits remain important regardless of the hardware being used.
The timing of HONOR’s promotion is notable. Rather than ending discounts once schools reopen, the Pad Carnival targets the period when families may have a clearer idea of what devices students actually need for their classes. It also arrives as tablets continue to occupy the space between smartphones and laptops, particularly for younger students and households looking for a single device capable of handling entertainment as well as schoolwork.
HONOR has not specified an end date for the Pad Carnival, describing it as a limited-time promotion. The offers are available through HONOR Experience stores and major retail partners in the UAE, with the combination of discounted hardware and bundled accessories potentially making September a more interesting time to shop than the traditional pre-school sales period.
