Anker introduces 7-in-1 nano charging station with USB-C fast charging and power monitoring

Anker has released a new addition to its desktop charging range with the launch of the 7-in-1 Nano Charging Station, now available in the U.S. for $89.99. Designed to reduce cable clutter and streamline power access at workstations, the compact hub offers multiple charging options along with built-in safety features and real-time power tracking.

The device features a mix of ports and sockets that cater to a variety of electronics. It includes three USB-C ports, one USB-A port, and three AC outlets positioned on the rear of the unit. Two of the USB-C ports come with retractable cables that extend up to 2.3 feet and lock into place during use. When not in use, the cables retract with a magnetic-assisted mechanism engineered to handle repeated use without fraying or tangling.

For single-device charging, the Nano Charging Station can deliver up to 100W via USB-C—enough to charge a power-hungry laptop like the 16-inch MacBook Pro to 50% in roughly 35 minutes. When more devices are connected, the system intelligently distributes power: two USB-C ports can share between 50W and 88W, while all four USB ports combined are limited to a total of 30W when used simultaneously.

A small LCD display on the front panel provides real-time data, including how much power each connected device is drawing. This helps users monitor usage and potentially optimize which devices are connected where. For users juggling multiple gadgets, the display offers a clearer overview of the station’s load distribution.

Internally, Anker has integrated its GaN (gallium nitride) chipset along with ActiveShield 3.0, a thermal management system that monitors temperature more than six million times per day—approximately 80 times per second. When excessive heat is detected, cooling mechanisms activate automatically to prevent performance degradation or potential damage.

The charging station is also equipped with a comprehensive set of protection features. These include over-temperature regulation, overcurrent and overvoltage control, short-circuit protection, grounded and surge protection, static resistance, and fire-resistant materials. These safeguards are especially important during prolonged or high-load charging scenarios, offering reassurance for users powering laptops, tablets, phones, and other sensitive devices.

With its matte black finish and space-saving form factor, the 7-in-1 Nano Charging Station is positioned as a practical option for students, remote workers, and professionals who want a more organized charging solution at their desks or shared workspaces.
