Google is rolling out a new redesigned desktop video player inspired by its mobile applications.
The player features transparent playback controls overlayed on the video rather than the black bar. The settings controls have also gotten a bit of a UI change taking the entire player towards Google’s material design language.
Similar to the current player, the control bar will disappear after a few seconds giving you a full-screen video.
