Etisalat in the UAE has announced the launch of the Nexus 9 by Google. The device is now available to customers on both postpaid and prepaid plans.

For Post paid customers, Etisalat said that the Nexus 9 will be free with 1GB data starting at AED 200 per month with upgrade plans also available to 5GB and 10GB data for an additional AED 100 and AED 200 respectively.

For Prepaid customers, an upfront payment will get them a contract-free tablet with 1GB free data for the first month and AED 99 per month thereafter.

Introducing specially designed tablet data bundles falls in line with Etisalat’s commitment to expand its device and mobile data portfolio to meet the growing demand of its customers in the UAE, said Khaled Elkhouly, Chief Marketing Officer at Etisalat.

The Nexus 9 is the first Tablet with Android Lollipop out of the box. Check out our full review of the device here.
