vivo has launched the V40 Lite 5G, the newest member of its V40 series. The phone aims to balance design and durability with features geared towards everyday use.
Available in three colors (Titanium Silver, Dynamic Black, and Dreamy Violet), the V40 Lite 5G sports a slim profile with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. It features a “Cushion-Cut Diamond Camera” design and a “Metallic High-Gloss Frame.”
The phone includes a 5000 mAh battery with 80W FlashCharge capabilities. vivo claims the battery will maintain health for up to four years. The V40 Lite 5G also has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and incorporates “Wet-Hand Touch” technology for screen responsiveness even when wet.
Performance-wise, the V40 Lite 5G utilizes “Memory Booster” technology, which includes Extended RAM, RAM Saver, and App Retainer features. The phone supports up to 12 GB of Extended RAM and allows for storage expansion up to 1 TB.
The camera system on the V40 Lite 5G consists of a 50MP main camera, a 32MP portrait camera, and an 8MP 120° ultra-wide-angle camera. It also includes vivo’s “AI Aura Light” system for improved portrait lighting and AI-powered features like AI Erase and AI Photo Enhance.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 platform and features a 120Hz AMOLED display. Dual stereo speakers with “Audio Booster” technology aim to provide an immersive audio experience.
The vivo V40 Lite 5G is now available for purchase with a starting price of AED 1099.
