TikTok is expanding its AI-powered creative suite, TikTok Symphony, with the introduction of generative AI avatars for brands and creators. These avatars can be used to create branded and creative content, offering both pre-built “stock avatars” and customizable “custom avatars” to suit individual needs.
With the rise of AI-generated content on the platform, TikTok ensures transparency by labeling such content. Andy Yang, head of creative product at TikTok, believes these avatars will empower creators and expand their opportunities with global brands.
In addition to avatars, TikTok Symphony is introducing AI-dubbing, a feature enabling creators and marketers to translate content into over 10 languages and dialects, broadening their reach. This tool automatically detects the original language, transcribes, translates, and produces dubbed videos in selected languages.
TikTok’s continued investment in AI tools suggests further advancements are on the horizon, as the platform actively explores new features like ChatGPT-generated search results.
