Oppo’s latest smartwatch, the Oppo Watch X, has officially arrived (in Europe at least) after its initial launch in China earlier this year. The device bears a striking resemblance to the OnePlus Watch 2 in terms of specifications, featuring a polished stainless steel case with a circular design and a 1.43-inch AMOLED display protected by Sapphire Crystal Glass. This bright, high-resolution display also supports Always-on technology.
Under the hood, the Oppo Watch X packs a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. Notably, it operates on a dual operating system setup, running both WearOS 4 and RTOS. This combination allows the watch to optimize battery life while maintaining full functionality, with the promise of up to 100 hours of usage on a single charge. For those in a rush, VOOC Flash Charging provides a full day’s power in just 10 minutes.

Health-conscious users will appreciate the Watch X’s comprehensive suite of features, including an 8-channel heart rate sensor, a 16-channel blood oxygen sensor, and stress tracking. It also offers sleep analysis, including a Sleep Snoring Risk Assessment, and supports over 100 sports modes with automatic activity recognition. For outdoor enthusiasts, the watch comes equipped with dual-band GPS and a 5-satellite positioning system for precise navigation.
Currently available in the UK for £279 (rising to £299 later), and €329 in other EU countries, the Oppo Watch X offers a compelling combination of style, performance, and health tracking capabilities for tech-savvy consumers.
