Meta’s Twitter competitor Threads is now live

Threads, Meta’s Twitter competitor is now live and people are just going nuts about it! The Threads app is now available for download from the Apple App Store and Google Play store.

Joining Threads is fast and literally instant, as it links to your Instagram account, if the app is installed on your phone, and immediately prompts you to follow the same accounts on Threads.

The interface is very clean, definitely less cluttered than Twitter, and includes the familiar functions with the ability to reply, like, re-share, DM, etc. Users can also filter replies, mentions.

The timing is spot on, with Twitter facing a lot of heat in the past few weeks for the latest changes to rate limit tweets, and the latest update to TweetDeck 2.0, which will soon require a Twitter Blue subscription to use.

Go ahead, give it a try, and follow us here 😀
