Lenovo Launches First Arabic Gaming Community in the UAE

Since the introduction of Lenovo’s Legion gaming sub-brand in 2017, the company has introduced a host of PCs, desktops and accessories. As part of its focus on providing gamers with unique experiences to connect, collaborate and compete, Lenovo has announced the launch of its Legion Community in the UAE.

The Legion Community is an online portal which gives passionate gamers access to the latest news and tips and tricks, alongside the ability to hold forum discussions, join streaming parties on Discord and Twitch, and share their latest content for greater reach.

Following the successful launch of the Legion Community across Italy, Spain, the Nordics, and the Middle East and Africa, Lenovo has now also regionally launched an Arabic version of its gaming community to cater to Arabic speakers in the region. Through the platform, gamers can meet, play and perfect their skills alongside friends, familiar names and new competitors in the region.

The ultimate goal of the Legion Community is to establish and grow a platform that is made directly by gamers, for gamers. Lenovo is working closely with leading gaming talent across the UAE and the wider region to continuously update the portal with new types of content and experiences to make it a place where gamers will want to keep coming back to.

“We focus on understanding what gamers want – be they casual, avid or pro. As part of our end-user focused approach, we regularly work with gaming research panels and influencers when creating new Legion devices, enabling gamers to be ‘stylish on the outside, savage on the inside’. We also look to provide the community with new opportunities and experiences to connect on a wider level. I encourage all gamers to take a look at what the Legion Community has to offer, so that we can work towards building a truly united family of gamers in the UAE and wider region,” said Mohammed Hilili, General Manager of Lenovo Gulf.

In the coming months, the Legion Community platform will begin to engage players in a variety of events and activities, including gaming tournaments and quizzes, articles on tips and tricks, and exclusive content from professional gamers.
