HP has unveiled its new class of AI PCs, the HP OmniBook X AI PC and HP EliteBook Ultra AI PC, at Microsoft’s AI Vision Event. These laptops are designed to empower users to work and create more meaningfully in the AI era, offering enhanced productivity, creativity, and collaboration.
Built from the ground up with the latest ARM architecture, the OmniBook X and EliteBook Ultra are powered by the Snapdragon® X Elite processor with a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU), enabling them to run language models and generative AI locally on the device. Combined with Microsoft Copilot+ PC, these laptops deliver a personalized and powerful computing experience.
HP’s new AI PCs break barriers by offering lightning-fast responsiveness, allowing users to open large files quickly and stream content for extended periods. With a sleek design and impressive battery life, these laptops provide the perfect blend of power and mobility.
To further enhance collaboration and productivity, the new Poly Camera Pro app utilizes the NPU to power AI enhancements like Spotlight, Background Blur & Replace, and Auto Framing for virtual meetings. The HP AI Companion, available on these next-gen AI PCs, optimizes the device for greater productivity and brings AI tools locally onto the device.
Security is also a priority with the HP EliteBook Ultra, which features Wolf Pro Security Next Gen Antivirus (NGAV) and Microsoft Secured-Core PC protection.
The HP OmniBook X AI PC is available for pre-order with a starting price of $1,199.99, while the HP EliteBook Ultra AI PC starts at $1,699.99. Both models will begin shipping on June 18, 2024.
