Honor CEO teases record-breaking Magic V3 foldable phone, debuts Magic V Flip

Honor has recently launched the Magic V Flip, marking its entry into the flip-style foldable phone market. In a post-launch meeting, CEO Zhao Ming shed light on the Magic V3, the company’s upcoming foldable phone, while reaffirming the remarkable thinness of the Magic V2, launched in July 2023.

Ming revealed that the Honor Magic V3 is in active development, promising a cutting-edge and groundbreaking foldable phone. He emphasized Honor’s dedication to innovation, highlighting how the Magic V2 remains the thinnest foldable on the market even after nearly a year since its launch. This commitment to pushing boundaries and surpassing its own records underscores Honor’s core values.

While specific details about the Magic V3 remain scarce, rumors suggest it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and may boast a battery exceeding 5,000mAh. Additionally, leaks hint at the inclusion of a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Should these rumors prove true, the Magic V3 could potentially surpass the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, currently the foldable phone with the largest battery capacity.

The Magic V3 is expected to debut in China in July, further solidifying Honor’s position as a pioneer in the foldable phone arena. With its focus on innovation and pushing technological limits, Honor continues to captivate the smartphone market with its exciting developments.
