Fujifilm is extending its line of instant cameras with the Instax Mini 41, a new analog model that blends throwback design with updated usability features aimed at everyday photographers. Launching across the Middle East as of May 27, the Mini 41 builds on the appeal of the earlier Instax Mini 40 by offering a refreshed design and smarter shooting tools, while keeping the process of printing instant film photos simple and tactile.
Visually, the Mini 41 embraces the same vintage camera look that helped the Mini 40 stand out, but it adds a few contemporary flourishes. Its black and dark silver body now features a bold orange accent, making it feel more like a personal accessory than just a camera. A textured lower grip also adds practicality, offering a more secure feel in hand.

But the biggest improvements are functional. Fujifilm has addressed one of the common quirks of instant film photography—framing inaccuracies in close-up shots—by adding a “Close-up Mode” that corrects the parallax difference between the viewfinder and the lens. This makes selfies and close-up shots more reliable, especially with the included selfie mirror next to the lens for real-time framing.
Also onboard is Fujifilm’s Automatic Light Adjustment feature, which senses ambient light and adjusts shutter speed and flash output accordingly. The goal is to reduce the need for guesswork or trial and error, allowing users to get decent exposure whether they’re shooting indoors or out.

Priced at $99, the Instax Mini 41 enters the market as an entry-level model with enough design flair and intelligent functionality to appeal to casual photographers and style-conscious users alike. Alongside the playful Instax Mini 12, it shows Fujifilm’s continued effort to make analog photography accessible, while keeping its aesthetic appeal front and center.
The Instax Mini 41 is available now across Middle Eastern retailers for $99 USD.
