Apple Vision Pro app coming to iPad with iPadOS 26.1 update

Apple is expanding the Vision Pro ecosystem with the upcoming release of the Apple Vision Pro app for iPad. When iPadOS 26.1 arrives later this month or in early November, iPad users will be able to access the app for the first time.

The Apple Vision Pro app first launched on iPhone in April as part of iOS 18.4. It allows users to explore and manage their Vision Pro headset from their devices, offering tools to queue app and game downloads, discover spatial content, find helpful tips, and quickly access information about their Vision Pro.

The app features a Discover page highlighting curated recommendations for new and notable spatial experiences, while the My Vision Pro section lets users access setup tools, check software and serial details, and configure Personalized Spatial Audio.

This expansion to iPad gives users a larger, more immersive interface for exploring and managing their Vision Pro experience.

The announcement coincides with Apple’s reveal of new versions of both the iPad Pro and Apple Vision Pro, each powered by the new M5 chip, marking another major step forward in performance and AI capability across Apple’s device lineup.
