Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is the seventh installment in the Mission: Impossible film franchise, and it is easily one of the best. Tom Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt, and he is joined by a stellar cast that includes Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, and Henry Czerny. The film is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who also helmed the previous two films in the franchise.
Dead Reckoning Part One is a non-stop thrill ride from start to finish. The action sequences are some of the most impressive ever put on film, and Cruise himself performs many of his own stunts as usual.
The film is a globe-trotting adventure that takes Hunt and his team on a mission to stop a mysterious new weapon that threatens all of humanity (this time an AI based weapon). Along the way, they’ll face off against some of the most dangerous villains the franchise has ever seen.
Overall, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is a great action movie. It’s got everything you’d expect from a Mission: Impossible film: high-stakes action, suspense, and humor. Cruise is back at his best, and the supporting cast is excellent
