Apple Arcade is adding five new titles to its growing catalog of mobile games on May 1, 2025. Leading the lineup is WHAT THE CLASH?, a chaotic multiplayer experience from indie developer Triband, best known for the award-winning WHAT THE CAR?. The game invites players into fast-paced matches filled with offbeat activities like archery, tag, and tennis, all played with a customizable, stretchy-legged hand.
WHAT THE CLASH? builds on the quirky humor and unpredictable gameplay that made its predecessor a mobile favorite, introducing modifier cards that generate wild combinations—like “milk the fish” or “sticky tennis.” Designed for solo play or head-to-head challenges, it offers tournaments, leaderboard rankings, and endless customization options with unlockable outfits and accessories. The game launches exclusively on Apple Arcade and will be available across all supported devices.

Also arriving in May is with My Buddy, a pet simulation game that allows players to adopt, raise, and interact with virtual puppies and kittens. Created by Neilo Inc., this cozy life sim emphasizes bonding, customization, and decorating your pet’s environment. Each animal features a unique personality, and players can dress them up in themed outfits while nurturing them through different life stages.

The racing genre gets a colorful boost with LEGO Friends Heartlake Rush+, a revamped endless runner based in the LEGO Friends universe. Players race through Heartlake City, dodge obstacles, collect in-game rewards, and complete missions while customizing vehicles with decals, colors, and accessories.

Puzzle fans can look forward to Words of Wonders: Search+, a word search title with an educational twist. The game challenges players to uncover hidden words while virtually exploring iconic global landmarks. Levels are thematically organized and designed to test vocabulary and problem-solving skills.

Rounding out the list is SUMI SUMI: Matching Puzzle+, a character-driven puzzle game featuring fan-favorites from San-X like Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi. With relaxing tap-to-match mechanics, this title blends casual gameplay with vibrant visuals, making it a laid-back experience for players of all ages.
In addition to the new releases, existing Apple Arcade games are getting seasonal content updates. On April 10, WHAT THE CAR? receives new skins, a map, and fresh levels. Hello Kitty Island Adventure introduces a new in-game location—City Town Orchards—on April 16. Meanwhile, PGA TOUR Pro Golf will launch a virtual RBC Heritage event on April 17, synced with the real-world tournament.

Other games receiving updates this month include Talking Tom Blast Park, Three Kingdoms HEROES, Ridiculous Fishing EX, Tomb of the Mask+, and Skate City: New York.
Apple Arcade continues to offer access to over 200 games with no ads or in-app purchases.
