LEGO Middle East and Mercedes-Benz have teamed up to create a unique celebration of UAE National Day. A life-size replica of the iconic Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, constructed entirely from LEGO bricks, is now on display at Dubai Design District (d3).
This impressive model, weighing 972 kilograms and comprising 445,971 LEGO bricks, is a testament to the creativity and engineering prowess of both brands. The LEGO G-Wagon is a life-size version of the Mercedes-Benz G 500 4×4², a specialized off-road variant of the famous G-Class.
The display, which runs from November 28th to December 7th, invites visitors to experience the G-Wagon in a whole new way. The LEGO replica is sturdy enough to sit in and explore, offering a unique photo opportunity and a chance to appreciate the intricate details of the build.
In addition to the LEGO G-Wagon, visitors can contribute to a LEGO brick mural of the UAE flag, further celebrating the spirit of national unity and pride. Fans of LEGO Technic can also purchase Mercedes-Benz-themed sets, including the LEGO Technic Mercedes-Benz G 500 Professional Line set that inspired the life-size creation.
This collaboration between LEGO Middle East and Mercedes-Benz is not the first of its kind. In previous years, LEGO Middle East has brought other life-size vehicle builds to Dubai, including a LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sián FKP 27 and a record-breaking LEGO brick Formula 1 car.
