Fans of the Star Wars saga can relive the pivotal events of Revenge of the Sith on the big screen as the film returns to theaters for a limited engagement starting April 25th, 2025. This re-release commemorates the 20th anniversary of the film that chronicled the dramatic fall of Anakin Skywalker and the rise of the Galactic Empire.

Revenge of the Sith will be available in various formats, including 4DX, offering an immersive cinematic experience with synchronized motion chairs and special effects. The film, written and directed by George Lucas, picks up years after the onset of the Clone Wars, depicting the Jedi Knights’ struggle against the Separatists and the emergence of the Sith’s long-held plan for galactic domination.

The film stars Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, whose tragic descent to the dark side leads to his transformation into Darth Vader. Ewan McGregor portrays Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Frank Oz voices Jedi Master Yoda, as they grapple with the consequences of Anakin’s choices and the Jedi Order’s devastating losses. The cast also includes Natalie Portman, Ian McDiarmid, Jimmy Smits, and Samuel L. Jackson.

This theatrical re-release provides an opportunity for longtime fans to revisit a key chapter in the Star Wars saga and for newer audiences to experience the dramatic climax of the prequel trilogy on the big screen.
