Disney Plus recently celebrated its fifth anniversary by giving viewers a sneak peek at what’s to come in 2025. The streaming service released a teaser trailer packed with first-look clips from returning favorites and exciting new series. From the return of critically acclaimed shows like “The Bear” and “Andor” to the highly anticipated Marvel series “Daredevil: Born Again” and “Ironheart,” Disney Plus has curated a diverse lineup to keep viewers entertained. Here are five shows that have captured our attention:

Daredevil: Born Again

Scheduled to premiere on March 4, 2025, in the US and March 5, 2025, in the UK and Australia, “Daredevil: Born Again” is arguably one of the most anticipated series on the 2025 slate. This new iteration of the Daredevil story, led by showrunners Dario Scardapane, Christopher Ord, and Matthew Corman, picks up with Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) balancing his life as a lawyer with his vigilante activities as Daredevil. Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is back with his own agenda, setting the stage for an inevitable clash between the two. Fans of the original Netflix series are eager to see how this new chapter unfolds within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Bear Season 4

“The Bear” has quickly become a fan favorite, captivating audiences with its intense blend of drama and comedy set in the high-pressure world of a Chicago restaurant. The series features stellar performances from Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri. The recent teaser trailer offered a glimpse of the upcoming season, including the return of Jamie Lee Curtis, leaving viewers hungry for more.

Andor Season 2

Disney Plus has successfully expanded the Star Wars universe with shows like “The Mandalorian,” “Ahsoka,” and “Obi-Wan Kenobi.” “Andor” stands out with its grounded approach, focusing on the story of Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) in the years leading up to the events of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” Season 2 promises to further explore the growing rebellion against the Empire.

Alien: Earth

The “Alien” franchise continues to expand with “Alien: Earth,” a new series set 30 years before Ridley Scott’s iconic 1979 film. The show follows a group of soldiers who encounter a crashed alien spacecraft, leading to a confrontation with a terrifying threat. With a summer 2025 release date, fans are eager to see how this new installment builds upon the franchise’s legacy.

Ironheart

Riri Williams, the brilliant inventor who took on the mantle of Ironheart in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” is getting her own series. Created by Chinaka Hodge, “Ironheart” stars Dominique Thorne, reprising her role as Riri, as she navigates the intersection of technology and magic in her hometown of Chicago. The series also stars Anthony Ramos, Lyric Ross, and Regan Aliyah.
