Apple TV+ has released the trailer for its upcoming action-packed thriller, “The Instigators,” starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck as unlikely partners in crime. The film, directed by Doug Liman and written by Chuck MacLean and Casey Affleck, follows Rory (Damon) and Cobby (Affleck) as they embark on a daring heist that quickly spirals out of control.
When their plan goes awry, the two find themselves hunted by both law enforcement and vengeful criminals. Desperate and out of options, they enlist the help of Rory’s therapist (Hong Chau) in their chaotic escape through the city. Along the way, they must overcome their differences and work together to evade capture and stay alive.
The star-studded cast also includes Michael Stuhlbarg, Paul Walter Hauser, Ving Rhames, Alfred Molina, Toby Jones,Jack Harlow, and Ron Perlman. Produced by Artists Equity, Studio 8, and The Walsh Company, “The Instigators” promises to be a thrilling ride filled with suspense, action, and unexpected twists.
The film will debut in select theaters on August 2, 2024, before its global premiere on Apple TV+ on August 9, 2024.
